Simply Masculine

Today's card is a very clean and simple masculine birthday card.  I chose some cool-colored cardstock for the layers and jazzed up the top layer with some ink and texture.  To do this, I cut my cardstock to size, inked the raised side of my Stripes embossing folder with Pool Party ink, and placed the cardstock in the embossing folder at an angle to create diagonal stripes.  Pretty cool effect, huh?

Hope you all have a wonderful day today and thanks for stopping by!

Today's card is a CASE of a card by Kathleen Hopperstad.  It uses a technique called "VersaShadow" - you can find a great video tutorial by Erin Gonzales here.  It has such a cool effect!

Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend - I was super busy in my craft room this weekend sewing, embroidering, jewelry-making, and, of course, paper-crafting!  I have quite a few cards lined up to share with you, so stay tuned!
