Hi stampers! Today, I'm sharing my Christmas wreath with you! It is made out of over 200 paper roses (I lost count)! This project took awhile to complete, but the end result was SO WORTH IT! I've created a video (below) to show you how to make the paper roses. The original idea came from browsing Pinterest and here's a link to the blog of the very talented lady (Sandi) who posted the tutorial I followed. Here's an up-close photo of the roses - just beautiful!
It's a fairly simple project, it just takes some time, effort, and patience to complete. I think in total it took me around 8-10 hours. All of the paper roses are hot-glued to the front of a styrofoam wreath (no need to add roses to the back side). My suggestion is to make 30-40 roses per day and be sure to glue them to the wreath the same day. Why? Because once you start to see your wreath taking shape you will definitely want to keep going and finish the project! And, all the effort will last you for years to come. Not to mention bragging rights ;).
Here's the video:
If you make your own wreath, please let me know so I can "ooh and aah" over it! Let me know if you have any questions!
